Par Avion (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a flight tracking and loyalty intelligence application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Account information:When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. Apple's “Hide My Email” feature is fully supported.

Flight data: Flight numbers and dates you add to track. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you opt in, synced to our servers for cross-device access.

Loyalty program data: Frequent flyer program details you enter (airline, tier, miles/points). This is stored locally on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect location data, contacts, browsing history, or any data beyond what is described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party flight data providers (such as AeroDataBox) to fetch real-time flight information. Only flight numbers and dates are shared with these services. No personal information is transmitted.

Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. If cloud sync is enabled, data is stored on encrypted servers (AWS). You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.

Children's Privacy

Par Avion is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email.
